Scott King



Scott King has been President of a2c since its inception in 2007.  As a founding partner of a2c, Mr. King offers nearly two decades of technology consulting experience.  His primary responsibilities include oversight of the company’s operational performance, service delivery, and management of a2c’s strategic partnerships in the Boston, New York, and Philadelphia offices.  The a2c President has played a critical role in the successful relationships established with industry leaders such as Independence Blue Cross, Reed Elsevier, and AIG.


Prior to co-founding a2c, Mr. King served as Regional Manager for Alliance Consulting Group, where he first encountered current fellow a2c executives Spitzer, Cassidy, Cattie and DiPietro in 1997. At Alliance Mr. King established and advanced the firm’s Boston office; there he

was responsible for handling major accounts as well as the overall performance of that branch.  The Boston office rapidly expanded to become the largest of the firm’s eight and consequently Alliance recognized Mr. King with the company’s Outstanding Achievement Award for Business Development for both 1999 and 2000. During Scott King’s tenure at Alliance, the firm was recognized as one of the fastest growing companies by Inc. 500 and ranked at #3 in 1999 and #7 in 2000. Mr. King led the Alliance sales team during that period, and was consistently recognized as the firm’s Top Performer. Alliance grew to encompass over 700 consultants and generated revenues of over $100m before it was sold in 2002.


After leaving Alliance, Mr. King founded and served as CEO of EAM Consulting. At EAM, Mr. King was responsible for all corporate operations, delivery and execution of the business plan. EAM specialized in Enterprise Resource Planning, Web Development, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence, and Infrastructure projects. In 2007 Mr. King pooled his resources with his former Alliance partners to form a2c.


As President of a2c IT Consulting, Scott King envisions continued growth and expansion in not only the existing a2c Boston, New York and Philadelphia offices, but to establish presence in other markets. Mr. King is a proponent of targeted focus on comprehensive solutions offerings, predominantly in the Healthcare, Financial Services, Life Science, and e-Learning verticals.


Mr. King holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Boston College.
